Working primarily in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, they have an intricate understanding of the construction process end-to-end from trade through to client-driven project management. And it shows in the quality of their vibrantly designed, functional and inviting spaces, tailored to their clients’ needs, without restrictions.
We are looking for a fulltime Carpenter/Joiner to join their business.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and design specifications to accurately produce joinery items that align with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Custom fabrication of workstations, cabinets and other specified joinery by following drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with different departments to create efficient joinery processes.
  • Utilise a range of woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, sanders and drills, with precision and safety precautions to shape and assemble joinery pieces.
  • Ensure the quality of finished products by thoroughly inspecting materials, measurements and joinery techniques to meet design specifications and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality policy and processes to maintain high-quality standards in joinery.
 
Experience and skills:
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • At least proven 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood components to tight tolerances.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

  • $70,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation
