The Chef will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, presentation, inventory control, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Creativity in menu development and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods are essential. Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of kebabs, grilled dishes, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
• Collaborate with management to plan and develop menus, including daily specials and seasonal dishes.
• Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained, placing orders as necessary.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Oversee the kitchen’s operations during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Control food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing preparation techniques.
• Handle customer feedback regarding food quality and make necessary adjustments.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Minimum of 1 years experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Proven experience with kebabs, grills, and Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean cuisine is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead when required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Creativity and innovation in developing new menu items and presentation styles.
