We are seeking a dedicated and experienced chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and help deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a chef, you will play a key role in daily kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of meals to a high standard.
- Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supply orders.
- Oversee and maintain the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with managers and kitchen/waiting staff on food preparation matters.
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on food preparation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with staff selection, training, and development where required.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation.
- Manage food preservation, including freezing and storage processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (minimum)
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
