SGHG FAMILY PTY LTD (trading as Café 63 Loganholme) is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to join its kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis. Located in Loganholme QLD, the venue is part of the well-known Café 63 network and is committed to delivering fresh, consistent, high-quality meals to its customers. The successful candidate will take ownership of daily kitchen operations and lead a dynamic culinary team. This position offers a salary in the range of $75000 to $8000 plus superannuation per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Task & responsibilities

• Manage all kitchen operations in line with Café 63 specifications and policies
• Oversee food preparation and ensure timely and high-quality meal delivery
• Implement food safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with legislative standards
• Monitor food wastage, maintain adequate prep levels, and minimize ingredient shortages
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing regular communication and coaching
• Ensure all meals meet Café 63’s presentation and timing standards
• Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
• Foster a respectful and positive kitchen culture aligned with company values

Qualification & experience

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
