The role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to manage all contract-related tasks in our organization. This full-time position requires someone with strong skills in contract negotiation, compliance, and managing contracts from start to finish. The ideal candidate will help improve our operations and reduce risks in all business agreements within a fast-paced retail environment.

Task & responsibilities

· Draft, prepare, and maintain contracts and contract variations in line with company policies and legal requirements.

· Review and interpret contract terms, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organisational standards.

· Negotiate contract terms, variations, and amendments with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve favourable outcomes.

· Monitor contract performance, obligations, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks or potential disputes.

· Provide guidance and advice to internal teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk management.

· Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and variation registers.

· Collaborate with project managers, legal advisors, and procurement teams to ensure effective contract administration.

· Support dispute resolution and claims management processes when required.

· Ensure all contract activities are aligned with organizational objectives and compliance frameworks.


Qualification & experience

  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator, Contracts Officer, or a similar role handling contract negotiation and management
  • Good understanding of commercial law, procurement procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Skilled in using contract management software, document control tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and solving problems
  • High attention to detail and able to manage several contracts at the same time
  • Experience in industries like retail, construction, or logistics is a strong advantage
  • Able to understand complex legal and financial terms and explain them clearly to others
  • Relevant qualifications in Business and project Management are preferred.
