Sandrino, a much-loved café and pizzeria located in the heart of Fremantle, is seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, high-quality dishes with a focus on authentic flavours and excellent customer experience. As a Cook at Sandrino, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting a variety of dishes to a high standard. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, including pizzas, pastas, and café-style dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage.
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1-2 year of proven experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen.
• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
