Job Description:

KINDY ADMIN PTY LIMITED trading as Erina Kindergarten  is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join its committed educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early learning programs that support the development and wellbeing of young children in a nurturing and engaging environment. Key duties include planning and implementing curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, documenting children’s progress, maintaining strong relationships with families, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Early Childhood Teacher will also mentor educators, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating setting. Task & responsibilities

• Plan, structure, and deliver learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments using diverse materials and resources to support children’s development.
• Provide activities that foster motor skills, social cooperation, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Promote language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and group discussions.
• Observe and assess children’s learning, wellbeing, and behaviour to monitor progress and identify any health, developmental, or emotional concerns.
• Support children’s health and safety by observing nutritional needs, implementing hygiene practices, and ensuring safe environments.
• Engage in meaningful communication with families, keeping them informed of their child’s learning, progress, and wellbeing.
• Attend and contribute to parent meetings, staff meetings, and educational planning sessions.
• Participate in community and family support programs, building positive partnerships.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise student teachers and educators on placement.
• Uphold the service’s philosophy, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Qualification & experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• Current and valid teaching registration or licence as required by the relevant authority.
• A minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in a related position.
