The role:
The Field/Calibration technician will ensure that measurement and diagnostic equipment such as concrete testing equipment are functioning accurately and meet the industry standards.

Task & responsibilities
• Preparing and accurately measuring chemical compounds for use in construction applications such as waterproofing and concrete structural enhancement based on manufacturer technical data sheets.
• Monitoring reactions and performance observations after chemical application.
• Calibrating, testing and maintaining injection pumps and equipment to ensure accurate application and quality control.
• Inspecting material conditions before and after chemical application to assess effectiveness (using moisture meters, humidity & temperature sensors) and reporting performance.
• Filling out chemical application reports including type of chemical, volume, site conditions and observed results.
• Liase with engineers and supervisors to determine the most appropriate chemical product to use and adapt application procedures where necessary.
• Handling Safety Data Sheets and complying with all PPE and chemical handling safety protocols
Qualification & experience
- Bachelor in Physics & Instrumentation or related qualification
- At least 3 years of work experience in similar role at a professional level
