The role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our vibrant team at Union Hotel located in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience.

Task & responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals following set recipes and standards
- Coordinate food preparation and kitchen operations
- Monitor food safety and hygiene practices
- Assist in menu planning, costing, and specials development
- Maintain kitchen inventory and ensure proper stock rotation
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Qualification & experience
- At least one year of experience working as a Chef
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of food safety and workplace health standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
