Full- time Tree Worker required in Warrnambool and surrounding Victorian suburbs

LEGAL NAME: MERRI TREE SERVICES PTY LTD

Daily duties are listed below:

1. Care for trees by pruning and shaping branches, treating for pests and disease
2. Comply with all safety guidelines, company procedures and environmental regulations
3. Maintain equipment and report any issues to supervisor
4. Work collaboratively with demolition teams
5. Perform tree clearing by removing dead or decaying trees as part of site preparations
6. Carry out a range of tree management activities including inspection
7. Operate specialist equipment such as elevated work platforms, tree chippers, saws and climbing gear

• At least three years of relevant experience as a tree worker may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above 

This is a full-time position. You will be required to work 38 hours per week 

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training in  Arboriculture, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) in  Arboriculture is desirable in an area closely related to a this field of study

At least three years of relevant experience as a tree worker may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above
