HSE Advisor

EXZO Pty Ltd specializes in Tier 1 & 2 builder subcontracting services on large scale commercial & industrial projects, interior fit outs & refurbishment. Our Head Office is located in Welshpool with projects in Perth and surrounds which you will be required to go to. 

We are seeking expressions of interest for HSE Advisor who has previous experience in creating WHS plans, documents and strategies for commercial construction projects. 

Duties • Work closely with the Projects team delivering Installation and construction work packages. • Implementation and management of each Projects delivery plan • Review current OHS policies and procedures • Writing new policies and procedures that comply with the WHS Harmonisation Act • Implement WHS plans and strategies for the business • Process approach and risk-based thinking and ensure both quality policies and objectives are implemented within the team. • Work across the EXZO’s sites to ensure a safe workplace • Conduct site work audits & monitor compliance to site specific requirements • Contribute to the safety culture by developing strategies and action plans • Prepare system documentation as required • Monitor compliance to applicable regulations • Support the site team in meeting company HSE duties • Ensure all incident data and HSE metrics are completed and documented • Undertake incident investigation and the identification and treatment of hazards and risks • Promote OHSE awareness and company policy and procedures. • Carry out toolbox talks, and new worker inductions as required • Adhere to the EXZO Code of Conduct, taking reasonable care to protect your own health and safety and that of colleagues and others • Comply with all reasonable instruction and cooperate with clients / external health and safety procedures • Keep up to date with current professional developments as required 

Skills & Experience • 3 years minimum experience in a similar role • Certification Cert IV OHS accreditation • Proven work experience WHS policies and procedures • Site exposure • Intermediate skills in MS Office Software • Valid Driver’s License • You must be able to pass a Pre-Employment, Drug & Alcohol Test

• Annual Salary range between $76,515 - $90,000 + Super

Qualification & experience

• HSE: 3 years (Required) 
• Certification Cert IV OHS accreditation
