About the role:

We’re seeking an experienced MC Driver / Forklift Operator who takes pride in their work and likes to get the job done right.  No two days are the same – experience variety and the satisfaction of getting the job done right!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate MC vehicle for local deliveries in compliance with road transport regulations.

• Perform pre-start and end-of-day checks on the vehicle and report any defects or issues.

• Operate a 20-tonne forklift to safely move, load, and unload heavy freight and equipment

• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.

• Communicate with the depot, customers, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delays.

• Comply with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

You will bring:

• MC licence with a safe driving history

• Valid forklift licence with experience and skills to handle 20T capacity

• Rail and port inductions will be highly regarded·      

• A strong commitment to safety regulations, load restraint, and fatigue management.

• Punctuality and the ability to meet delivery schedules

• Reliable, responsibility and positive approach to your working day

• Ability to follow instructions, and to communicate effectively
