Mobile Remedial Massage Therapist

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist to join our mobile team on a subcontractor and causal basis for our in-home elderly clients around North West Melbourne.

Requirements:

Advanced Diploma, Diploma, Cert IV in Remedial massage

Working with Children's check (WWCC)

NDIS Screening check

First aid & CPR

Police check

Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in remedial massage therapy

Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Valid Victorian drivers license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Current association membership (e.g. MAA, MMA, MA etc.)

Professional indemnity insurance and Public Liability

ABN (Australian Business Number)

Excellent communication and client care skills

Commitment to professional development and high clinical standards

Responsibilities

Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs to develop tailored treatment plans.

Massage Techniques: Perform a range of massage therapies, including remedial, relaxation, and specialized techniques like dry needling, Lymphatic drainage massage and cupping therapy are added advantage.

Therapeutic Support: Provide treatments aimed at relieving muscle tension, improving circulation, and promoting overall relaxation.

Rehabilitation Advice: Offer guidance on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and relaxation techniques to enhance recovery.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques and industry standards to provide the best care possible.
