Melvic Auto Care is now looking for a fully qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Ravenhall.

Task & responsibilities

Inspect vehicles and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately

Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and tyre checks

Repair and replace worn or defective parts including brakes, suspension, steering components, drive belts, and timing belts

Carry out engine repairs, cooling system repairs, and clutch replacements

Use diagnostic tools and scan equipment to assess engine management systems and resolve fault codes

Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications

Ensure all repairs meet roadworthy and safety standards

Complete job cards and service reports accurately and on time

Order and manage parts and supplies as needed

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Communicate effectively with workshop staff and, where required, with customers

Assist with training or supervising apprentices or junior technicians  

Qualification & experience

Minimum One Year of work experience

Minimum Cert III in Automotive Technology 

Attention to detail.

Strong Technical and Diagnostic Skills

Able to work independently and as a part of the team.
