Motor Mechanic

Sangha Enterprises Pty Ltd T/A Jags Melbourne Motor Group is growing and seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in Campbellfield, Victoria. We are looking for a full-time qualified Motor Mechanic with at least 2 plus years prior experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a team as a Motor Mechanic.

Task & responsibilities

• Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models). 
• Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution
• Mechanical repairs including periodic servicing, brakes repair, clutches and timing belts repair/replacement on different makes and models.
• Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues. 
• Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment. 
• Change engine and transmission oils. 
• Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles. 
• Roadworthy Testing detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
• Adhere and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, general housekeeping and workshop maintenance
• Train other workshop staff
• May require to respond vehicle breakdown service calls.

Qualification & experience

• Australian Qualifications minimum (Certificate III)
• Minimum 2 plus years prior experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• AC Handling License regarded but not essential
• High attention to detail
