The role:
Position Summary:
The OutSystems Developer works closely with product, design, and development teams to build and deliver cutting-edge applications aimed at transforming healthcare delivery. As part of the Pathways team, the OutSystems Developer creates web-based solutions for clinicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient journeys along clinical pathways. This role involves developing and maintaining Reactive web-based applications on the OutSystems platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our suite of products, including the Pathways Builder for clinicians, an execution platform for patient monitoring, and a responsive patient app.
- Work on low-code applications integrated with high-code technologies such as Vue, JavaScript, and Laravel.
- Collaborate with applications hosted across platforms, interconnected via a common authorization platform.
- Work closely with business experts to understand and implement healthcare informatics concepts.
- Drive the continuous evolution of OutSystems best practices within the development team.
Skills and competencies:
- Experience working with OutSystems and at least one current OutSystems certification.
- Familiarity with web-based languages, especially Vue, JavaScript, and Laravel.
- Knowledge of SQL and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability as a key individual contributor, successfully delivering large products/projects on the platform.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and people skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical details to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic organisation that is rapidly evolving, and navigate the ambiguity, change, and challenges this environment occasionally creates.
