Task & responsibilities

• Plan, organise, control and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Plan and coordinate menu offerings in collaboration with the Head Chef and management, ensuring variety, seasonality, and profitability while maintaining authenticity of Venezuelan cuisine.
• Ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests by maintaining high service standards.
• Manage, recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team culture.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring alignment with the restaurant’s standards.
• Develop and implement efficient procedures to optimise operational performance.
• Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, and stock management.
• Plan and coordinate functions, events, and seasonal promotions in collaboration with management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Address and resolve customer feedback and complaints effectively.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum Diploma-level qualification in hospitality, management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
