Task & responsibilities

• Oversee promotional activities and advertising strategies to increase visibility and sales of the establishment’s goods and services.
• Prepare and manage budgets to ensure effective financial planning and cost control.
• Direct the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Provide customer service by selling products and offering expert advice on product use and suitability.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions to support effective business management.
• Ensure all operations comply with occupational health and safety regulations and workplace standards.
• Determine and review product mix, stock levels, and service quality to align with customer demand and business goals.
• Develop and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including pricing strategies, to maximise profitability and market competitiveness.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 Year of proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.
• A combination of formal qualifications and relevant experience is acceptable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage staff, vendors, and customer service standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods.
