Task & responsibilities

• Provide education and advice to patients about their medication
• Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling medicines.
• Prepare and dispense customised compounded medications and provide patient counselling and device support for sleep apnoea management
• Ensure the accurate, safe, and timely dispensing of medications in accordance with professional standards.
• Provide high-level clinical advice and pharmaceutical support to both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality assurance requirements, including legislative obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of dispensary operations.

Qualification & experience

•    Completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or higher

•    At least one year of relevant work experience

•    AHPRA registration

•    Good communication skills and fluency in English

•    Ability to work in a team environment, follow directions and be willing to learn

•    Attention to detail and accuracy when dispensing prescriptions, maintaining records, and interpreting medical information to avoid medication errors.
