We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individuals to join the business as a Storeperson. This position will be directly reporting to our Store Manager

Task & responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving items delivered to the store, scanning them to confirm all items are received, and sending invoices to head office for processing
• Labelling goods with details of isle location and quantity of items in stock
• Monitor stock handing and cutting procedures by fillers to avoid stock damage and personal injury
• Assist the store manager with weekly and annual stocktakes to maintain effective day-to-day store operations and determine the level of stock for smooth sales and service standards
• Required for inputting stock levels and communicating with head office
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers with confidence and promote the sale of products
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Ability to lift and move goods with machine and equipment
• Responsible for overseeing the store accounts, to ensure all financial transactions are recorded as per the compliance and regulatory requirements
• Report any faulty equipment to the store manager
• Understand and operate within Khans’ safe handling policies and guidelines
• Perform other duties as required by the Store Manager

Qualification & experience

• At least a AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• At least one year of experience as a store person preferred
• Organisation Skills: Ability to manage inventory and keep the store organised.
• Basic Computer Skills: Required for inputting stock levels and communicating with head office.
• Forklift Operation: Handling a forklift to move goods.
• Physical Fitness: The role involves heavy lifting and long hours of standing.
• Must be available to work flixible hours, including evening, weekends and public holidays
