Supervisor

We are currently looking to fill a supervisor position for our successful store in the Cairns Night Markets specialising in bubble tea and churros. Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is a must. Good communication skills and the ability to adapt to new situations will be needed.

Required:

· Certificate IV or higher qualification in Hospitality or Business Administration

· Significant work experience in management and the hospitality industry

· Working knowledge of POS, food delivery applications and systems

· Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

· Communication and leadership skills

· Customer-oriented and service-minded

· Strong leadership skills

· Decisive and critical thinker

· Front and back of house experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

· Oversee all front and back of the house cafe operations

· Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service

· Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally

· Monitor shop hardware/equipment.

· Maintain quality control for all food served

· Maintain stock control

· Analyse staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer's experience

· Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly

· Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards

· Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff

· Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
