Systems Analyst

 The Trustee for OSR TRUST TA Hockingstuart Epping is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team on Full-time basis. About the Role

As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. You will analyse processes, identify areas for improvement, and design systems that deliver efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements that support organisational objectives.
• Investigate and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and workflows, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and detailed system designs for developers and IT teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost–benefit analyses, and risk assessments to support technology decisions.
• Use process modelling, data flow diagrams, and system documentation techniques to specify system requirements.
• Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical manuals, and user guidelines to support business use.
• Collaborate with project teams, applying project management methodologies to deliver IT projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Act as a key liaison between end-users, management, and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and integration of solutions.
• Provide ongoing advice on IT strategy, system improvements, and technology best practices to support business growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in systems analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and deliver actionable solutions.
• Proficiency in system analysis methodologies such as process modelling, data flow diagrams, and use case development.
• Good understanding of system development lifecycles, feasibility studies, and project management practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise between business users and technical specialists.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
