Responsibilities

• Lead engaging tours
• Provide linformative commentary
• Ensure smooth operation of tours
• Assist with customer inquiries
• Maintain positive relationships with clients
• Ensure guests have a safe and memorable experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in tourism/hospitality
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of Cairns and surrounding attractions
• Strong knowledge of local history and culture
• Customer-oriented approach
• Multilingual skills (Mandarin and English) highly regraded
• Current First Aid Certificate and driver’s licence

Task & responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting guests
• Planning, organising and conducting tours
• Arranging transportation and accommodation for visitors following planned itineraries
• Arranging entry to places of interest
• Answering questions, providing commentaries, issuing brochures and tour literature
• Explaining features and procedures at tour sites
• Assist with customer inquiries
• Maintain positive relationships with clients

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in tourism/hospitality
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong knowledge of Cairns and surrounding 

attractions 

• Strong knowledge of local history and culture
• Customer-oriented approach
• Multilingual skills (Mandarin and English) highly regarded
