We are seeking a talented COBOL developer to deliver results for our Human Resources Information System.  You will enjoy the opportunity to specialise in one component of the backend of our highly regarded software program. You will have an enquiring mind with a mathematical bent and are keen to learn through job training and mentoring. Reporting to a supportive Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with other parts of the business to deliver client focused solutions.

You will be working for a company that has a policy of reinvesting a significant portion of revenue in ongoing product development to ensure our product suite has cutting edge capability while ensuring time tested reliability.  We pay for talent.

To be successful in this role, you will be a natural team player and enjoy continuously learning, you will also have the following skills and experience: -

·         3+ years demonstrated commercial experience in COBOL

·         Knowledge of Linux, Git and Azure DevOps

·         Knowledge of C# / Python / Java.

·         Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Demonstrated understanding of ‘cause and effect’ when programming

·         Great communication skills – verbal and written
