We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive automation, cloud engineering, platform reliability, and DevSecOps best practices across a modern technology environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building scalable infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, highly available platforms.
The Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes that support critical business applications.
Working within Agile delivery teams, you'll champion DevSecOps practices, automate operational processes, and help improve platform reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions and cloud-native architectures
• Collaborate with development teams to embed automated testing, builds, and deployments
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and self-service capabilities
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production environments
• Implement security controls and DevSecOps best practices
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and platform improvements
• Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation
• Participate in an operational support rotation

About You

• 5+ years' experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role
• Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Security-first mindset with a solid understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Strong Linux administration background (RHEL preferred)
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
