The Roly Poly Family has been offering our professional “Privately Family Owned” Early Learning services since 1993 and still continues to learn and grow with knowledge and dignity. We work closely with our Team and support them throughout all aspects of the service on a daily basis. 

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Qualified, Diploma, and Certificate III holder who aligns with our philosophies and is able to  provide engaging educational programs for the children.  This is a Monday-Friday position with generous remuneration. This position is for an energised, passionate educator that aims to deliver high-quality and inclusive learning programs using contemporary teaching theories, strategies and styles; knowledge of child development; and alignment to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).   

You will work closely with our experienced and professional Director, providing the opportunity for professional growth and the ability to significantly contribute to a centre with an excellent reputation. 

Our beautiful heritage building that used to be the “KINGS THEATRE” in the early 1900s boasts 6 classrooms, each classroom with indoor and outdoor open spaces, providing a fun, loving and nurturing environment. 

Our centre is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our Art Décor theme throughout the building creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere as you walk through all our amazing spaces. We pride ourselves in delivering a professional service that helps the little minds of our future develop and grow into beautiful little human beings with self-confidence and pride. 

We have staff parking AND our own Barista in the mornings for parents/carers and staff!

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Diploma and Certificate III in an early childhood setting of 90+ place centre;

• Ability to adapt quickly, think strategically and use initiative;

• Proven Leadership, management and relationship building skills;

• Qualifications: Applicants must have a Diploma, and a Certificate III in Children's Services.

• Current valid Working With Children's Check;

• Current First aid Certificate and Anaphylaxis management certificate;

• Excellent knowledge and application of legislative and regulatory frameworks;

• Ability to demonstrate and teach curriculum and pedagogic knowledge.
