We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide daily living support including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
*Assist participants with community access, social activities, and appointments
*Support clients in achieving their individual goals and developing life skills
*Administer or prompt medication where required (training provided if needed)
*Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
*Follow individual care plans and safety procedures
About You
*Passionate about supporting people with disabilities
*Patient, empathetic, and respectful
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Reliable with good time management skills
Essential Requirements
*Availability to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
*Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
*Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
*NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
*Working With Children Check
*National Police Check
*Relevant qualifications in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (desirable but not essential)
* Minimum 6mnths paid experience
