As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will help lead learning and teaching within the centre.
Working closely with educators, room leaders, and the Educational Leader, you will support children's learning, guide educational programs, and help educators deliver great outcomes for children.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
Lead educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Create engaging learning experiences that support children's learning and development
Support educators with observations, planning, and documentation
Help deliver a high-quality planning cycle across the room
Use observations to plan for children's learning and interests
Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Support continuous improvement and reflective practice
Participate in centre events, family nights, and community initiatives
Model professional and respectful behaviour at all times
Support child-safe practices and report concerns when required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Experience delivering educational programs for young children
Confidence supporting educators with planning and documentation
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for early childhood education
A positive, collaborative, and supportive approach
A commitment to ongoing professional learning
NSW Teacher Accreditation (or eligibility to obtain)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
A current Working With Children Check and Child Protection training
Experience mentoring and supporting educators
Experience with Assessment and Rating processes
An interest in creativity, the arts, nature play, and child-led learning
