The International School of Western Australia (ISWA) is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational school for local and international students from K-12, running on a northern hemisphere calendar.

We are seeking a dedicated Education Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team in a 0.4 FTE fixed-term role (1 year contract). The position is 4 days per week (negotiable), commencing July 2026.

Located close to Perth and operating on a northern hemisphere calendar, ISWA is a non-denominational, independent school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.  With over 60 nationalities represented, we value diversity, inclusion, and international-mindedness across all aspects of school life.

About the role

As an Education Assistant, you will:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated learning experiences

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning concepts and skills

• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the classroom

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in an educational setting

• Is supportive, patient, and builds positive relationships with students

• Works well as part of a collaborative team

• Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in supporting classroom needs
