Diploma Educator – Children’s Services | Community Junction
Community Junction Children's Services are seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our North St Marys Children's Centre team.
This is a permanent part-time position (35 hours per week) working across our Preschool and Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) services, supporting children aged 3 to 12 years in a warm, inclusive and community-focused environment.
You will work collaboratively with our educators to provide high-quality education and care experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths and voices. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across both Preschool and OOSH programs on the same site, creating meaningful relationships with children and families throughout their early childhood and school-age years.
We believe great education and care is about relationships, not ratios.
We are seeking an educator who is passionate about children's voices, committed to being present, and motivated to advocate for children's wellbeing, inclusion and sense of belonging. If you are looking to make a genuine difference rather than simply fill a role, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
Availability is required Monday to Friday between 6:15am and 6:00pm, with shifts rostered within these operating hours.
At Community Junction Children's Services, we value our educators and recognise the important role they play in children's lives.
We offer:
Permanent part-time employment (35 hours per week)
Above-award support and mentoring
Generous programming and documentation time with team approach
Dedicated leadership and operational support
Opportunities for professional development and career progression
Supportive and collaborative team culture
Work across both Preschool and OOSH settings
Not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus
Employee wellbeing initiatives and recognition programs
The opportunity to genuinely influence children's learning and wellbeing
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children
Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing
Passion for listening to and advocating for children's voices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Experience supporting children with additional needs
Experience working in both Preschool and OOSH environments
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and/or My Time Our Place
