About the Role
GLAICA Ltd is seeking an experienced Educator (Registered Nurse) to design, deliver, and evaluate high‑quality clinical and non‑clinical training across our Residential Aged Care Homes and GLAICA services. This role is ideal for a skilled clinician with a passion for teaching, coaching, and driving best practice.
What You’ll Do
The role provides leadership through influence — driving a learning culture across our homes.
Assess training needs across residential care services.
Design and deliver education aligned to best practice and organisational standards.
Lead clinical and non-clinical competency development, onboarding, and induction programs.
Support quality, compliance, and accreditation requirements.
Mentor, coach, and support staff to build capability and confidence.
Contribute to evidence‑based practice and change initiatives.
Identify areas of employee’s skills/knowledge that require further learning/competency development and create a plan to achieve this
What You’ll Bring. . .
Essential
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
3+ years post‑registration, including 2+ years in clinical leadership or education.
Experience in residential aged care.
Demonstrated ability to deliver clinical education.
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability.
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
Proficiency with computer systems and documentation.
Desirable
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116).
Postgraduate studies in Gerontology, Palliative Care, Dementia, Mental Health, or Education.
Experience in evidence‑based practice, change management, and clinical practice development.
