Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage units.
- Read, interpret, and implement electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Conduct electrical wiring, cabling, and integration for residential and commercial solar projects.
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and system troubleshooting for solar and battery installations.
- Ensure installations comply with Clean Energy Council (CEC) standards, Australian electrical codes, and workplace safety regulations.
- Assist engineers with system optimisation, energy efficiency improvements, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate job records, site reports, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients to explain system functionality and provide post-installation support.

Qualification & experience
- Certificate III or higher in Electrotechnology / Electrical Engineering Technician qualification.
- Experience with solar PV and battery systems installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring, fault diagnosis, and technical problem-solving.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Valid WA Electrical Licence preferred.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
