Full-time

Connect people with the support they need—to find a job and keep a job

At Status Employment Services, we know that employment changes lives. As part of the employment journey, our Participants have dedicated support to access employers in their area and community. We know that our Participants often need access to essential supports- housing, financial help, mental health services, as well as a foot in the door to an employment opportunity.

That is where you come in!

We are looking for Employer Engagement Consultant to join our team and lead the charge in building strong, effective partnerships with local employers and community organisations. Your background in sales and community services, or both, will help our Participants, people with disability and other barriers to employment, get the support they need to move forward in their lives and into long-term sustainable employment.

The Opportunity:

As an Employer Engagement Consultant, you will be the connector between jobs and Participants - building strong relationships with local employers to uncover real job opportunities for our Participants. You will bring your sales and marketing experience along with your ability to engage employers, promote services, and identify opportunities to support employment outcomes for people with disability. You will have an insight into local labor markets and business needs, with a focus on matching employers to the right person whilst fostering inclusive employment outcomes that stick! You will thrive in this space, working closely with our service delivery teams, and play a key role in shaping the future of our Participants through meaningful work.

This is a role for someone who is passionate about opening doors—through partnerships, through persistence, and through possibility across Morley, Osborne Park, Ellenbrook, and Midland.

About You:

Our successful candidate will bring:

  • a flair for building and maintaining internal and external relationships

  • confidence in applying sales and marketing skills to promote services, engage employers, and identify new opportunities that lead to sustainable job outcomes.

  • an enthusiasm to identify opportunities which support people with disability to thrive in their community

  • the ability to work autonomously alongside a high-performing team

  • experience working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • a track record of driving results and achieving performance targets

  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services, Disability Services or similar, or a willingness to complete a formal qualification, fully supported by Status, as part of your employment journey with us

Why join our Organisation:

We value our people and offer a range of benefits designed to support personal and professional growth, recognise your achievements, and make the work we undertake meaningful. Key benefits include:

  • Generous above-award salaries

  • Tax free salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900, plus an additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment.

  • Accrued Monthly Day Off for eligible employees

  • A Perkbox Subscription with a wide range of discounts, wellbeing resources, and lifestyle perks

  • A performance reward system that provides additional paid leave benefits

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • A well-structured fully supported induction program, with further development and training provided

  • Professional team environment with support from an internal team of dedicated specialists
