THE ROLE
MAK Water are currently looking for an Engineer - Sales & Projects to join the Operations team. The role is a permanent full time position, predominantly working Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the National Service Manager, core duties include:
Monitor and analyse equipment and process performance, implementing strategies to improve reliability
Develop and maintain condition monitoring processes, procedures and maintenance documentation
Lead the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of new or upgraded water and wastewater treatment systems
Provide technical support to the operations team, including troubleshooting, training and preparation of estimates, quotes and tenders
Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring compliance with specifications, budgets and timelines
Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers and clients to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is eager to grow with an expanding company and ready to take on new challenges. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
At least 5 years’ experience in operations, project delivery, or process engineering, ideally within a similar industry
Strong technical knowledge of process design, equipment performance, and engineering documentation (GA drawings and P&IDs)
High-level computer literacy, including data analysis and process modelling software
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with well-developed organisational and time management skills
