Singleton-Branxton Uniting Church is seeking a person to support the spiritual formation and well-being of children, young people, and families.  

The position will be on a part-time permanent basis.

 The position is located at Singleton and Branxton. The hours of work will be two days a week; Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:30pm – 2:30pm (then once a month on Sundays 9am-12 and 4-7pm but not that Tuesday) but these times may be flexible and subject to negotiation.

 About the role:

·       Attend and actively participate in monthly Messy Church sessions held on Sunday afternoons.

·       Lead or contribute to Bible storytelling and sharing key messages in a way that is accessible and engaging for children and families.

·       Build relationships with families by engaging both within the program and through community outreach (e.g., local parks such as Huntlee Park).

·       Support and guide parent-child interactions through play-based activities, including facilitating structured and unstructured play.

·       Support the planning and delivery of family-focused church services as part of the leadership team.

·       Utilise communication channels such as social media (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), email, and community networks (including schools) to increase engagement and participation.
