The Family Practitioner role provides early intervention, non-clinical mental health support for children and young people up to 18 years of age who are showing early signs of mental health concerns or are at risk of developing a mental illness. The program delivers an accessible, flexible, high-quality, and integrated service that responds to the needs of young people, their families, and carers. It focuses on identifying risk factors early, working collaboratively to address emerging issues, and strengthening protective and protective factors to support ongoing wellbeing. You will work with young people and parents/carers in a variety of settings including schools, community and office based.
