We are looking for a passionate, positive and energetic farm all-rounder to join our young team at The Food Farm on The Central Coast, NSW

We are a passionate team of people from all over the world farming pasture raised chickens (for eggs and meat), pasture raised pigs and grass fed and finished cattle. We butcher everything on-farm, so you'll have the opportunity to have a full paddock to plate experience.

The Offer: 

• Each day is a little different, but follows a similar flow. On a typical day, you'll be collecting eggs, moving chicken caravans, fencing, filling feeds/waterers, pasture management, repairing things, filling the farm shop + so much more!

• The ability to be in a workplace where you are truly valued and celebrated by a young, vibrant team who cares about each other (we're all under 35!)

• The opportunity to expand your knowledge in skills such as operating machinery, farming, fencing, livestock, irrigation, fencing, repairs and welding.

Remuneration:

• Remunuration depending on skill set, experience, pace and desired weekly hours

• Meat allowance provided

• Lunch provided every Wednesday
  

About you: 

• You may/may not have direct farm experience, but we really value experience working outdoors

• You are strong, fit and have a positive, solutions based mindset

• You have a deep sense of duty and understand the unique needs of being a farmer, particularly with livestock

• You live locally

• You are honest, reliable and community minded

• You love working outdoors in rain, hail or shine!

• You are a team player but also happy to work independently with integrity

• You are comfortable with livestock and big dogs

• You have your own car and drivers license
