High-impact finance leadership role within a growing property and hospitality group.

We’re partnering with a privately owned property developer with a strong hospitality and venue operations arm to appoint a Financial Controller into a key leadership position within the business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can step into a fast-paced environment quickly, provide strong commercial oversight and become a trusted operational finance leader across the group.

The business operates across property and hospitality assets, including venue operations with gaming exposure, making prior hospitality finance experience highly advantageous.

Reporting into senior leadership, this role will oversee the day-to-day finance function while providing commercial support across operations, reporting, budgeting and business performance.

The business is open to either a Financial Controller or strong Finance Manager profile depending on capability and experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Commercial analysis and operational finance support
• Partnering with operational stakeholders across hospitality and venue assets
• Leading finance processes, controls and compliance
• Supporting business performance and strategic decision making
• Working within a fast-moving, highly operational environment

• Previous hospitality finance experience is essential
• Gaming exposure highly regarded
• Experience within pubs, venues, hotel groups or hospitality operators preferred
• Strong commercial finance capability with a hands-on approach
• Able to step into an environment quickly and drive outcomes
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in-office full time
• Positive, team-oriented and culturally aligned personality

• Approx. $200,000 + Super
