PUNJAB ROADTRAINS PTY. LTD T/A AUSWIDE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced and organised Transport Company Manager to oversee and coordinate transport operations from its South Australia location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transport operations, driver coordination, fleet performance, maintenance planning, compliance, and overall operational efficiency to ensure reliable logistics services. Task & responsibilities

• Organising the acquisition, maintenance, servicing, and utilisation of transport vehicles, trailers, equipment, and fuel resources
• Liaising with clients and business partners to determine transport requirements, negotiate service arrangements, and resolve operational issues
• Planning, implementing, and monitoring transportation schedules, freight allocations, and delivery operations to meet business objectives
• Overseeing the storage and transportation of goods to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Coordinating the collection, dispatch, loading, and delivery of freight and transport vehicles across multiple operational locations
• Maintaining business records and preparing operational, financial, compliance, and fleet performance reports for management review
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, transport legislation, fatigue management requirements, and company policies
• Managing and coordinating transport operations across a large fleet of trucks, drivers, and mechanical staff to ensure efficient logistics services

Qualification & experience

• Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience as a Transport Company Manager or in transport and logistics operations management
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, fleet compliance, NHVR regulations, fatigue management, and workplace health and safety standards
• Proven ability to manage large scale transport operations involving multiple trucks, drivers, freight movements, and operational staff
• Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced transport environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, drivers, suppliers, and operational teams
• Proficiency in transport management systems, fleet scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting tools
• Ability to work independently, manage operational priorities, and lead transport operations efficiently across multiple locations
