Task & responsibilities
- Organises the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel
- Liaises with clients to determine requirements and provide customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaints
- Receives orders and bookings, and plans and implements transportation schedules
- Arranges collection and delivery of vehicles and goods
- Maintains business records and prepares operational statements and reports
Qualification & experience
- Previous Operations or Fleet experience (Highly desired)
- Diploma in Business / Management studies (Highly desired)
- Truck and logistics knowledge
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to confidently build rapport with people
- A solid understanding of OH&S and COR with the ability to apply that knowledge within the role.
- Confident with Technology in general
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening, police clearance, and pre-employment medical
- At least 1.5 years of relevant experience.
- Australian Work Rights Required.
Availability to work at least 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position. Work in person.
