We are a well-established and financially secure builder/developer, and we are looking for an experienced Foreman/Supervisor to join our construction team. In this role you will be working closely with the Site Manager and other foreman. You will be responsible for delivering the internal & external finishes on premium, award-winning projects on the Gold Coast. The role is for an immediate start, and you will become part of a highly experienced and well-resourced construction project team.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities relating to the internal and external finishes, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, quality safety standards and programme

• Developing short term 4-week lookahead programmes

• Drive to deliver a quality for our customers

• Work with the site manager & foremen to coordinate site labour, site logistics and to facilitate efficient movement of materials and personnel

• Enforce and follow company safety management system and fostering a culture of safety among all team members.

• Maintain accurate records photos & site diary etc

Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Minimum of 4+ years Foreman/Supervisor experience on commercial multi-res projects

• Medium to high rise residential apartment building projects or similar commercial construction environments highly regarded

• Strong technical knowledge and High attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and ability to build excellent working relationships with the team and external contractors. Excellent people management skills

• Passionate about the Construction Industry

• Strong work ethic, proactive and ability to take ownership.

• Carpentry Trade Certification desirable but not essential

• First Aid & CPR Certification desirable but not essential

• Prior use of Procore desirable but not essential
