Full Time Barber – Midland WA

Salon Express Midland (SEA SDL Trust) in Midland WA is looking for passionate and talented Barber who loves all things hair and putting a smile on a clients' face when they see the result. We want to focus on creating an amazing working environment that will inspire staff to thrive. You will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks. Salary of $75,000 - $80,000 + super for the successful candidate.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provide premium barbering services, including men’s cutting, colouring, and styling.
• Demonstrate expertise in basin skills and apply care and chemical treatments using various techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all tools.
• Discuss client hair needs and recommend care and styling products during services.
• Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel.

Qualifications:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) or at least three yearsof relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.

Experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience
• Essential Skills:Lives and breathes the hairdressing industry and is passionate about everything hair.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and display prioritisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Initiative, tenacity, and a positive approach to change.
• Customer service-focused with clear and concise communication skills.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to apply knowledge in a practical manner.
• Teamwork and willingness to support others.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Confidence, honesty, and loyalty to the business.
• Can perform an EXPRESS service at an exceptional standard.
• Has excellent customer service skills!
• Must be available to work weekends, that's when more of our clients want to have their hair cut.
