About the role

Seeking a proactive and organised NDIS Administration Officer to join the team at Better Care Community Support Services' in Newcastle, NSW. This full-time role will see you providing critical administrative support to our NDIS service delivery.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing administration support to the management team and support staff

  2. Creating and managing Service Agreements and Rental Agreements

  3. Answering phone calls and responding to emails professionally and promptly

  4. Coordinating office meetings, staff training sessions, and orientations

  5. Creating invoices using ShiftCare and Xero

  6. Uploading and maintaining participant and staff documentation

  7. Ordering office and household stock supplies

  8. Logging and coordinating maintenance requests for properties

  9. Assisting with general office organisation and day-to-day operations

  10. Supporting compliance and administrative processes within the NDIS sector

  11. Being the welcoming and professional face of our office


What we're looking for

  1. Relevant experience in an administration, ideally within the disability or community services sector

  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  3. Proficient in Google, Shift care, and Xero

  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  5. Knowledge of the NDIS and its processes and requirements

  6. A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and their families

  7. Must have experience in NDIS invoicing
