Full-Time Truck Driver Required

The Trustee for Lalit and Ritu Family Trust T/A Shining Star Mechanical’s is currently seeking a full-time Truck Driver to join their dynamic team at 26, Explorers Road, White Rock, Queensland, 4306.

Task & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities but not limited to: 

• Operates heavy vehicles to transport goods safely to designated locations.
• Conducts pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports defects.
• Loads, unloads and secures freight in compliance with safety standards.
• Ensures correct weight distribution and load restraint procedures.
• Completes delivery documentation and obtains proof of delivery.
• Complies with road laws, fatigue management and WHS requirements.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and coordinates basic servicing needs.
• Manoeuvres vehicle into safe positions for loading and unloading freight.
• Ensures goods are stowed and secured to prevent loss, damage, and hazards during transit.
• Checks and verifies condition of goods and obtains proof of delivery.

Qualification & experience

Skills/Qualification Preferred: 

• AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• Operates heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
• Conducts vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
• Loads, secures, and unloads freight
• Completes delivery documentation and ensures timely deliveries
• Complies with road, fatigue management, and safety regulations

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Good Salary: $79,000 – $84,000 plus super
