We are a small data consultancy seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Data Analyst to join our team in Brisbane. Our company delivers analytic and consulting services to a diverse range of Not-for-Profit clients.

About the role

As a Graduate, you will play a valuable role in analysing and interpreting complex data sets to help drive the strategic decision-making of our clients. You will work closely with various stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations that support our client goals.

The role is full-time with a negotiable start date from June 2026.

This role will suit a recent or soon to graduate candidate, or someone early in their career.

About you

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and maintain data models and reporting systems.

• Use the R programming language to perform statistical analysis and data visualisation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.

• Be an effective communicator with peers and external stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.

• Ability to build positive rapport with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in the R programming language is required.

  • Familiarity with {targets} and {data.table} is desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.

• Experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with the technology or consulting sector is desirable.

• Familiarity with other programming languages and concepts, such as SQL and Git is desirable.

• Familiarity with fundraising is desirable.

• Experience handling multiple projects at once is desirable.

• Must have permanent Australian working rights.
