We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner to join a collaborative People & Capability team. This is a true generalist HRBP role partnering closely with leaders across the business to deliver both strategic and operational people initiatives.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Perth.
You will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle while driving engagement, performance, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and positive workplace culture. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, coaching leaders, and contributing to meaningful people outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders and employees to provide strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and provide guidance on people management, workforce planning, engagement, and organisational design
Support and deliver annual people cycle activities including performance reviews, remuneration processes, succession planning, talent mapping, and engagement initiatives
Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations matters, investigations, grievance resolution, and policy interpretation
Provide advice on employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, and industrial relations matters
Support recruitment activities including job design, position descriptions, attraction strategies, and interview processes
Analyse HR data and insights to support decision-making and identify workforce trends
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, redundancy processes, and employee lifecycle administration
Lead or contribute to HR projects, policy reviews, process improvements, and change management initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across payroll, capability, communications, and leadership teams to deliver people-focused outcomes
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partnering or senior HR generalist role
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work, and industrial relations frameworks
Demonstrated experience across performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and organisational change
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business
Confident coaching and mentoring capability with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred
