The Role: HR Driver
As a HR Driver, you’ll be the face of Sadleirs on the road, responsible for the safe and timely transport of freight while representing our values every day.
Key responsibilities include:
Safe transport and loading of goods, ensuring correct load restraint and handling procedures
Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting or arranging maintenance as required
Accurately completing con notes and freight documentation (including DG where applicable)
Managing pallet control and freight documentation (load sheets, timesheets, run sheets)
Ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements and signage
Inspecting loads for damage and reporting issues proactively
Communicating effectively with operations teams and site personnel
Following safe manual handling practices and maintaining a safe working environment
Promoting positive team behaviours aligned with Sadleirs values
What You’ll Need
Valid Australian HR/HC/MC Licence
Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management
Dangerous Goods Licence (highly regarded)
Solid understanding of safety procedures and compliance requirements
Good communication and customer service skills
Team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic
Full working rights in Australia
