About the role

This full-time position at Winpart Group offers an exciting opportunity to work within the road transport industry in the Dubbo region of NSW. As both a HR and MR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the region, playing a key role in the company's logistics operations.

The current position involves becoming part of a six-person rotating roster, covering five different routes beginning in Dubbo. The role is for Monday to Friday, starting at approximately 3.00am and finishing at various times mid-morning to mid-afternoon depending on the individual route. The position will involve driving UD automatic trucks. a current forklift license is preferred, but not essential.

The position is for an immediate start.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods to and from various locations

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods

• Maintain accurate records of work hours, mileage, and delivery information

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and dispatch

• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license with a strong driving record

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical as well as a Drug and alcohol testing

• Have a clean criminal history and pass a National Police check

• Demonstrated experience in the road transport industry, preferably in a similar HR driving role

• Knowledge of relevant road transport regulations and safety procedures

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Forklift license
