About the Role
Promote best‑practice culture, ensure legislative compliance, and meet all WHS regulatory and corporate reporting obligations.
Provide strong leadership and management to the HSET department including coaching, mentoring, and training to support development & performance
Guidance & support to site operations and all subsidiary project activities
Lead the development, implementation, & review of Site Safety Management Plan, working with site leadership to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
Develop & implement strategies that strengthen employee engagement

Skills & experience
Extensive OHS experience over several years, including responsibility for leading teams and driving organisational outcomes
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety programs and recognised safety management systems
Detailed knowledge of the Western Australian Work Health & Safety Act (Mines), associated Regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice
Strong understanding of legislation affecting employment and safety in the WA mining industry
Proven experience in site safety management, improvement planning, and performance measurement
