Core objectives include:
• Support customers in the print industry’s hardware and software needs
• Adapting installing existing hardware and software that runs industrial print machines
• Improving customer system quality
• Identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and implementing new systems
• Maintain operational systems by continuously monitoring and fixing any problems
• Communicate information through code, diagrams, flowcharts, layouts, and other documentation
• Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
• Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
• Installing and downloading appropriate software
• Ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment
• Implementing & maintaining internal computer networks
• Maintaining and supporting online webshops for B2B
• Visiting customer site to consult on needs and design architecture and deployment
• Supports and maintains computer systems and peripherals by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware.
• Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required
• Work closely with the Workflow developers to grow the Durst ecosystem
• Understanding of Durst print Workflow and Pre-Press LFP and Label Workflow.
• Maintain and Install Durst Analytics Hardware, maintain the network of hardware devices locally on customers machines. Administer the implementation and maintenance of the Durst Secomea remote hardware support tool
• Understanding of Durst LIFT ERP Software.
• Working knowledge of the Durst Inkshop software platform.
